Clicking your pen when you're thinking or listening to the speaker is a subconscious and often irritating habit
Click... Click... Click... And Eureka! The answer to the question might have just been clicked into your mind... Your neighbour sitting across you in the exam hall may not be too excited though... It's irritating, it's mind-drilling, it's aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh can you just stop clicking that darn pen?!?!?!
That was just a random thought that occurred to me while I was doing my tutorial in my room... Click click click of the pen... Goes well with the rhythm (if any) of the fan turning behind me
When I was in secondary 1, my gd friend couldn't stop clicking her pen during an english mid year exam... Our form teacher, the invigilator, told her to stop doing that not because it's bothering other students but because 'It sounds like a spider having sex'
I never figured out how he was so well versed in the erotic sounds of spiders... Well, probably never will...
