The Logic of Engineers
Below is a conversation between mungky and I regarding 2 separate programmes... I shall call them program 1 and 2 respectively...
Mungky: Eh why is program 1 financially neutral when we have to pay for so many things?
Me: Because ar... There are 2 components X + Y... Y >>> X and hence X is negligible... As such, Y + X = Y... Since they're paying for Y, it is financially neutral...
Mungky: erm!!!
Then why is program 2 not financially neutral?
Me: Because ar... There is an additional component called Z... As Z + X is no longer negligible, Y + X + Z is significantly more than Y... Since they're only paying for Y, it's not financially neutral...
