Adventures of Panda Part 1
Once upon a time, in the southern province of china, there lived a panda called Xiao Mao. Xiao Mao spent all its life living in the luscious bamboo forests and never had to worry about a lack of bamboo shoots to eat. However, Xiao Mao always dreamt of seeing the world beyond the bamboo forest but never got a chance to do so.
One day, a wise old man by the name of Ah Kow came to visit the bamboo forest. Ah Kow was just touring the bamboo forest when he saw Xiao Mao sitting under a tree and gazing at the sky. Out of curiosity, Ah Kow approached Xiao Mao and began to converse with the panda in pandish. After learning Xiao Mao's dreams and aspirations, Ah Kow offered to take Xiao Mao out of the bamboo forest for a while and show it the world.
Xiao Mao was absolutely delighted and decided to follow Ah Kow after careful consideration. Just as Xiao Mao was packing its belongings, it looked around the bamboo forest and a wave of sadness overcame it. It will have to go without the sweet bamboo shoots of the forest for a while and instead embrace the unknown. It does not know if there are bamboo shoots out there to eat or if it will end up chomping weeds.
But Xiao Mao had already made a decision to leave. And Xiao Mao will return soon enough. To the warm embrace of the bamboo forest.
