I know I know I know!!!
I finally understand y some CIs (cadet inspectors) think so little of HOs (honorary offficers)... because............
if a HO didn't have any background, he/she would never have been able to learn enough stuff to convince CIs and cadets of their proficiency juz by attending the officer course alone... even for officers with background, there has to be a separate individual journey to learn and re-learn...
so yeah... this course which i'm attending is super slack!!! i think even my sec 3 nco course was much more rigorous than this... we're no longer shouted at... pls... the HO instructors will never shout at the teacher officers (TOs)... so we, the HOs, who attend this course together with the TOs, get to 'enjoy' not being shouted at... but when it's juz HOs alone, it's usually a different story... haha... i mean we r all officers so yeah there wun be much shouting... but sai gang aplenty =p
today was campcraft... spent most of my time guiding some of the TOs... some really quite garang and good... but some hor... sigh... i feel a little sorry for them coz they kena arrowed by their sch then bo bian... so yeah... some things which HOs with background like myself can do with our eyes closed or even with hands behind our back seemed super alien to them... and then there's the HO with no background! i really admire her courage... although the 2 uni units do not require HOs to have background, it's really quite difficult to survive without it... but she's trying hard to catch up... yupz! interest is paramount... without it, nth can be achieved...
ok that's all i have to say for now... time for me to go burn my boots... urgh... i give up polishing it... i'm gonna try the desperate measure of burning... hope i can c my teeth in it after burning... lalala
oh and i'll be spending my 19th birthday this friday at pulau ubin!!!!!!!!!! urgh... first day of atc (adventure training camp)... so birthday dinner will be sardines + maggi mee, birthday present will be lots of sandfly bites and in place of blowing out candles on a birthday cake, i'll be blowing out the flame of a hurricane lamp =)
