Ubin Mania
This entry is a day late... haha... i spent hari raya haji with xiangyun and yueh yang at ubin~! guess our attire? pt kit~! ok np personnel, pls do not laugh off ur chair... we REALLY went there in pt kit on a public holiday... in our officer tees somemore... but y not? firstly, pt kit is the most practical attire for hiking since we didn't cycle... secondly, pt kit without a np tee is like wellz... a tea cup containing coke... thirdly, we're proud of our organisation~! =p
yupz... so the day started off at 8.30am at the bus stop opposite my place... cruised along pie after picking the 2 of them up... had breakfast at the hawker centre at changi jetty before setting off for ubin... reached ubin at 10.15am... haha... basically we covered the usual orienteering routes... nth new except for the compulsive photo-taking sessions which r always if not often absent during atcs and the memorable trip to chek jawa... chek jawa is so beautiful~! it was my first time there of course to exclaim such... but then well i guess i'll say the same thing even if it's my umpteenth time there... the beauty of nature is juz so simple yet inexplicable... this plus the company of my buddies, wad more can i ask for on a public holiday? =)
