A Tribute to Friends
My friends are some of the greatest jewels in my life. Without my friends, I would never have been who I am today. This may be a little overdue although I think I did some thanking of friends on my blog eons ago. So here I go again in no order of importance:
Xiangyun:
Thanks for all the eating, shopping, sleepovers, engin canteen meetings, laughter, tears and growing up we did together. Thanks for all the JC zuo4 wen2 corrections (I know got a lot heehee) and your continued 'pesky' presence in my life
Cherry:
Thanks for being ever optimistic and peace-loving. Sorry for 'corrupting' you in the 2 years we were left together for the first time in chem eng. Without you, lectures would never have been the same and the last 5 years would have been dull as a tart.
Cindy:
Thanks for all the late-night tinkerfriend sessions. Sorry for accidentally hurting your feelings from time to time. Thanks also for constantly being my (warped) sense of reason. Remember to stay happy always! =)
Ka Mung:
Thanks for cohabiting with me during all those boring GP classes eons ago and during our never-ending MSN chats. You're probably the strongest person I've ever met although I've never told you that. And I also apologise for being insensitive to you pretty often. So yeah, bear with me when I am too insensitive again (bleah)
Yueying:
Thanks for sticking with me through those turbulent formative years we call secondary school. Without you, my life would have probably been ruined by self-absorption. Thanks for standing up for me all the time and covering my ass =p
Cheow Lit:
What can I say? Secondary school life would also have been so much duller without you haha! You made me realise what love is and I will never forget that lesson. I'm especially proud that we can come out of all entanglements as the greatest platonic friends around. No matter which part of the world we'll be in in future, we'll still be friends forever!
Sipei:
Sip sip sip! Without sippy, I would have crumbled during those 'dark' periods in uni. Thanks for encouraging me all the time and cracking the lamest jokes in the world! And stop being an emotional idiot (EI)!!
Steven (Da Jie):
Where would I be without da jie? Da jie held me through the uni dark ages together with sippy and kept hitting shuttlecocks on my head during badminton! Thank you da jie for pulling panda through and sticking with me as I tried to make Luna a success.
Yuehyang:
How could I ever have managed those 1 hour traffic jams back from NUS at 6pm when there's no YY to talk cock with me? Greatest logistic and impromptu talk cock asset. Thanks for being there =)
Ballo:
For the ignorant, Ballo was my chem eng OG. Although Ballo has almost disbanded completely, the times we spent singing KTV, ECP-ing and mahjonging are probably 1 of the happiest days of my life. If possible, I really hope all of us can stay friends forever. That's probably unrealistic but oh well. So anyway, thank you Ballo for the wonderful memories, great seniors, sippy, da jie and most importantly thank you Ballo for giving me Weixiang. Seriously, what more can I ask for? =)
