3 years and hitting 20
juz had a sec sch class gathering today... well strictly speaking, it's a half class gathering... coz all the guys decided not to turn up~!
i had quite a bit of fun even if it was mainly a 'sit down and chit chat session'... time really flies... i haven't seen some of these frenz for a really really long time... 3 years away from sec sch, we're all hitting if not already one and whole with the big two zero... reminiscing bout the past was a very reflective and feel good activity... there's no denying that we've all aged, matured and changed through the years... small cliques of frenz still meet each other regularly... but for most of us, this gathering was full of 'wah i haven't seen u for a long time~!'
i like to think about class gatherings decades down the road... when we're no longer young and ppl bring their children along... 'come boy~! call auntie~!' gosh... that'll be the day when i'll think 'it's been an awfully long time'...
even if i wasn't close to many of them, these r the people whom i was surrounded with during my formative years... i was stuck with some of them from sec 1 through sec 4... i guess this kind of frenship is simply inexplicable... i may not have been and never will be best buds with some of them... but their presence in this world have been etched in my mind forever... my sec 4 class photo is still stuck onto my study table... i'll never forget all of u =)
